A natural reseve was claimed a natural sanctuary in 1988. The reserve is situated in a vast forest between villages Dobrnice and Chlum. Protective zone with pine monoculture occupies 38,85 ha. The reason of protection is preservation of flooded 100 years old alder carr with numerous bunches of endangered spring snowflakes. Most numerous wooden spacies are blak alder, upper scrub alder buckthorn and prunus padus.
