Panuška´s Oak

The memorial to the Abolisment of Corvee

The oak used to be a frequent topic of pictures painted by artist Jaroslav Panuška. The artist had lived in a house (the artist himself call this house a log-house) since 1923. J.Panuška died in 1958 and is burried in Světlá nad Sázavou. Panuška´s Oak stands along a road in a direction from Františkodol to Smrčensko.
