Museum has been situated in the east part of the Chateau since 2007. The exhibition documents history of the town and its surroundings. Visitors can see documents and fascimile copies of old documents, boards devoted to noblemen families who owned Světlá in the past (for example Trčkové of Lípa, Kolowrat – Krakow, Salm – Reiferscheidt) and 3D subjets reminding of the history of the town – archeological findings, reconstructed stained glass or St. Wenceslas, patron of local church or a part of a peace cross found in Sázava river after floods in 2002. Two more exhibitions concern glass work and masonry, two most important industries in lives of local people.
